| Rama P. Jama |
A tune that I co-wrote with Colby Maddox. Rama P. Jama was the name
of a new age/world music radio show I used to listen to when I lived in
Santa Cruz, CA in 1989. Rama was a terrific radio personality who turned
me onto a lot of very cool world and new age music,
so I named this tune after him |

A cut from Destination Euphoria by my friend Jim Green - The
Wandering Endorphin. I met Jim at a Borders' Books Open Mic Night I used
to host a few years ago. I was completely blown away by his unique
guitar technique (inspired by Michael Hedges and Preston Reed, but it's
his own style)...anyway, I was
honored to be part of this record. |
| This is fine |
Years ago I used to spend a lot of time with my friend Pete Mancuso
who owned a music store at the time. We would get together and jam and
he would write tunes on the spot. I really liked the way this tune came
together. Pete is a great guy and one of the most generous people I have
ever known. |
| Memphis Train |
On the new cd by the band Farwell. I have known Ben Brittsan and
Seth August for a few years now. They write great songs and I love to
play with them. I really liked this tune the first time I heard it and I
am really happy with the way it turned out. |
| Wonder of Life |
I met Mark Paffrath at a benefit gig I did with my friend Kevin
O'Donnell a few years ago. He called me about a year later and asked me
to play on a couple of cuts on his new c.d. -Soothe. This is a tune he
wrote for his son. Mark is a great songwriter; Soothe is a really nice
record and I am happy to have played on it. |
